The search for the term "bookmobile" netted me different numbers of results in general search and in advanced search (under exact phrase) - though the first couple of results do appear to be the same. I also checked out the genral search term "manly" but of course that pulled up some weird and wonderful blogs.
Applications - Librarythingy - http://www.librarything.com/ obviously has heaps of applications for individuals to use - and libraries could promote this site and hold lessons in how to use this site for individuals. Library run book clubs could also make use of this site and it could be promoted to Book Clubs who are using the public library system to source their books and keep track of what members are reading.
