Well I have started to follow the instructions about doing RSS feeds - and have found that the recommended bloglines system is more difficult than the Reader available with your gmail account...was there some special reason why this was chosen???

We suggested bloglines so that we were not seen to be only going with Google linked products. Plus in a survey a few months ago amongst public library staff more said they used Bloglines than Google reader.
Please use whichever reader you prefer. I use both. You can embed your Google reader feeds in you blog so you can check the feeds without having to log in.
